Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
CBT - Cognitive Behavioural Therapy recognizes the connection between our thoughts, feelings, and actions. CBT has been well-researched and is helpful for people experiencing anxiety and depression. CBT is an action-oriented therapy. This means that there are many tools to choose from that you can work with outside of each session.

Integrative Sex and Couples Therapy
I am excited to offer Integrative Sex and Couples Therapy. This blend of relationship therapy combines benefits of Gottman Method and assessment and treatment of sexual issues.

IFS - Internal Family Systems
IFS - Internal Family Systems is an evidence-based transformative form of therapy developed by Richard C. Schwartz. IFS works with different "parts" of us, anchored by the core premise that there are "no bad parts". During the therapy process, we work together to bring healing to parts of us that have experienced pain and to reconnect with our "self".

DBT - Dialectical Behavioural Therapy
DBT - Dialectical Behavioural Therapy is an emotional regulation therapy. This process is a branch of CBT and offers many tools that can be helpful for people who live with PTSD, self-harming behaviours, addictions, and intense emotions.

Trauma-Informed Practice
Trauma-Informed Practice - This approach acknowledges that to support clients in counselling, it is important to ask "What happened to you?" instead of "What is wrong with you?". Client and therapist work within a framework of "safety, choice, collaboration, trust, and empowerment". This approach may incorporate body-centred and nervous regulation strategies.
